Walking (Open)

Christabelle climbed higher, "Yes, no doubt about that." she said hiding herself well within the leaves.

Nawat Crow watches the two elves climb into the tree not ten paces from his own and sighs,"why is all the human help worthless? Next time I'm hiring a Wolf...."

Christabelle remained quiet as she watched for anyone. Hearing the man, wondering why he wanted them.

As she looked down trying to see through the leaves, Ashellie leaned over the branch. She held it there on her hunches watching the humans below her. She then suddenly heard a loud crack. The branch beneath her was breaking!

Christy held out her hand, "Here come up here." she whispered, "Quickly."

Ashellie reached up grabbing her hand as the branch broke and her feet dangled there. "I'm slipping," she whispered back watching her hand.

Christabelle wrapped her arm around the tree and started trying to pull Ashellie up towards her. "Grab hold of that branch."

She grabbed the branch, her fingers barely slipping.

"Once you get on that one, jump on the one next to this one." she continued to say as Ashellie grabbed hold of the branch, "These shouldn't break."

Nawat seeing the elves predicament leaps onto his branch about to jump to there tree to help her fall and get caught by the beings running through the woods but stopped suddenly as he saw the other elf grab a hold of her...."yes" he thought "definitely a wolf next time...."

Ashellie held onto the branch and looked at the ground. "We better move, how good is your running skills in trees?" she whispered. She remembered jumping from tree to tree as a child, similar to a vampires. Mostly because her sister married a vampire... He taught her everything and yet she still fears in some way of the vampires.

"Pretty good." she replied looking at her, "Why do you ask?"

"Because," she looked around her in the tree. "I think we gotta move. This part of the forest is overrun with vampires and wolves.. If we wanna keep our skins and blood, we gotta head that way." She pointed to the left of the tree they were in where there was dim sunlight. "And we can touch the ground."

"Got it." she said jumping to another branch, "Funny though, this is the first time I've ever seen vampires and wolves on this side of Meria."

"This part isn't actually Meria," she replied jumping onto the tree next to the one Christy jumped to. "This forest is unclaimed. Elves explore, humans, wolves and vampires hunt in it.. Usually searching for us." She jumped across barely missing the branch.

Christy jumped to another branch slipping as she landed falling out of the tree. "Damn."

She grabbed her arm before her body hit the ground and pulled her onto the branch. "We may have to just get down and run."

"As of right now that sounds like the best plan," she said sighing as she got onto the branch, "Its not the best choice but right now it seems to be the only one we have."

"Okay.. On three we'll jump onto the ground floor and make a mad run for the exit," Ashellie said bracing herself. "We can head to my brother's home. Ready.. One... Two..."

"Three" she said jumping from the tree running like hell to get out of the forest as fast as she could.

Nawat watches the elves run in the opposite direction of himself and curses" damnit now im gonna have to follow them...." and he jumps through the trees more effortlessly than the elves quickly catching up w/ them

Christabelle grabbed Ashellie's hand so they could stay together as much as possible. She didn't look back as she ran.

As Nawat was following them he slips ahead a little bit and without realizing it breaks a branch off the tree and freezes as he hears it crash towards the forest floor,"damnit!!!!" he curses in his thoughts

Ashellie held onto Christabelle's hand and quickly ran from what was after them.

"Do these woods ever end?" she asked as they continued to run.
