Little Tree

So many people...so much blood...mustn't bite. Mustn't bite. It was as much as Saku could do to keep his eyes from turning red; he was biting his lip so hard that he could taste his own blood in his mouth. He kept his head down and followed the young looking blonde girl who seemed familiar. You're in a human city. You must keep your urges to yourself. Bide your time for the big attack. Just fit in, find out how they live, how they die, what their weaknesses are. Do not bite them.

He pushed through the crowd, trying to keep up with and not lose sight of the girl, but at the same time not seem suspicious. Luckily, he had seen several young humans with a similar hair style to his, and it seemed he had chosen his clothes wisely: tight black jeans, a black t-shirt with a white lightning bolt on it, and a black hooded jumper. The only thing he wasn't sure about were the shoes. In the forests he would normally be barefoot, but here he had to wear shoes. He'd chosen some 'Converse Allstars' in a grubby shade of what was probably once white, and although they were comfortable, his movement felt restricted. He couldn't prowl in that cat-like manner he was used to, nor did he feel as though he was attacking the humans. He felt as though he was becoming one of them. Shaking these thoughts from his mind, he continued to follow the girl through the 'Train Station'.

Ashellie walked on the sidewalk, unsure where she was really going. Her hood fell from the breeze and she left it there. Her pointed-elven ears were safely hidden beneath her curly blonde hair that fell over her shoulders. As she walked by store windows, her fingers brushed against the glass. She had a strange feeling that she was being stalked, by something dark, but ignored it. She was in a city. Humans everywhere, many of them could have dark spirits... She though to herself as a way of comfort. Trees loomed over her as she entered the 'London Park'. Less people were here. Odd... So empty for a park..

Saku kept walking, mostly staring at the ground, but looking up every now and again to check the girl was still in his sights. She was exactly the kind of person he liked to follow; exactly the kind of person he liked to hunt. Not that he would bite her, no, not in daylight, not in a public place. He wasn't quite confident to do that yet. And thinking of daylight... Saku put a hand to his face. Although he was still deathly pale, his skin was heating up. Grunting in annoyance, he began to comb his fringe further across his face with his fingers, in a vain attempt to protect his body from the dreaded sun. But it was a cloudy day, so it wasn't too bad.

When they entered the park, he too registered that it seemed very desolate. These humans do not take good advantage of their open spaces, he thought, thankful for the break from the tall buildings and noisy vehicles which seemed to be closing in on him wherever he walked. "Excuse me, miss," he muttered as he came alongside the pretty young girl. "You wouldn't happen to know the time, would you?"

Ashellie was slightly startled that he had appeared from no where and turned so her face met his. Her green eyes we were wide and she looked around. "Uh," she stuttered slightly trying to regain her words. "I'd say its around 1 in the afternoon," she gave him a small smile, as her way to calm her nerves.

"Oh, right, thanks," Saku said a little absently. Her eyes had distracted him. He could tell from behind that she had a pretty face, but didn't expect her to be quite as beautiful as she was. And - if he wasn't very much mistaken - an elf too! Not that he was a supporter of inter special relations, of course. He smiled at her and looked over his shoulder once, then turned back to looking straight ahead. Casually, he slipped his arm around her waist and whispered out of the corner of his mouth, "Don't say a word, just keep walking, elf. I think someone might be following us. Act natural."

Ashellie blinked softening her eyes a little bit and started walking with him. She looked a couple times at his arm around her waist. "Who is following us?" she whispered blowing her hair out of her face.
